ACDA today submitted the attached statement to the House Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee.  The statement focuses on immediate needs as well as recommendations for the FY 2021 appropriation, with the federal fiscal year beginning on October 1.  Topics highlighted in the statement include USDA Foods Needed Beyond Trade Mitigation and Coronavirus Response, Fully Fund TEFAP Administrative Funds at $100 million, Funding for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
