ACDA Annual Conference

Each year, ACDA sponsors a national conference that is unique among other association events. Naturally, there are the usual educational and networking opportunities at an ACDA conference. But rather than being an event where manufacturers and processors, brokers and distributors showcase their products and services, this conference convenes in the spirit of cooperation among its members, with everyone focusing on how to strengthen USDA Food Distribution Programs.

2020 Annual Conference: October 20 - 22

Due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the event ban in our host city of Seattle, Washington, ACDA leadership has decided to transition our Annual Conference scheduled for April 27-30 to a virtual conference. The Virtual Conference will be held October 20 - 22, 2020.

In an effort to continue to provide education and resources to our constituents (including valuable CE credits), we are excited to offer virtual attendance to the conference and on-demand viewing of the sessions. We hope to see you online!

Highlights include:

  • Sessions for both beginners and advanced level employees
  • Community feeding sessions including Farm to Food Bank, Utilizing Technology, and a comprehensive look at CSFP
  • BMI Update
  • New and Reformulated USDA Foods
  • How to cook for special diets
  • Procurement - What to include in your RFP's, BID's and IFP's
  • Hot Topics in USDA Foods Programs
